Materials Needed for Transporting Arrangements

Vehicle With Temperature Control

For moving a large quantity of arrangements, you may need an SUV or cargo van.

Blankets & Soft Materials

Blankets, towels, and other soft materials help fill negative space and cushion your arrangements.

Cardboard Boxes or Foam Boards

Cardboard boxes or foam boards are provided with your order — use them to transport vases and foam plates.

Optional

IKEA UPPDATERA System — event coordinators investing in a flower transportation system can try the UPPDATERA IKEA peg board — snap on pegs and feet to fit vases of different sizes.

Transporting Different Arrangements

Bud Vases

Transport in a cardboard box — reuse the box the vases arrived in. Separate each vase using cardboard dividers or soft materials from home, like towels or bubble wrap.

Vases With Foam Plates

Transport foam plates and vases separately. Place foam plates in the back of an SUV or cargo van (or in cardboard boxes), and add blankets, towels, bubble wrap, or other soft material to fill negative space and cushion the arrangements.

Transport vases in their original boxes, and set up plates on each vase at the venue.

Flower Frogs

You'll receive a foam board with your order. Cut circles in the board to match the diameter of your flower frog dish, place the board in the rear of the vehicle, and set each dish into its circle.

Vases Filled With Water

Pick vases up from the base — they're fragile. Place them in a cardboard box, then place the box in the rear of the vehicle or strap it onto a passenger seat. Add blankets, towels, or other soft material to fill negative space and cushion the arrangements.

Plan Your Route

Drive slowly and carefully. Use local roads whenever possible and avoid steep inclines, highways, and rough tracks.

Allow extra time for travel and setup.
